Hey guys, I'm Ash. I'm here today to do a blog for you all, and to do a little bit of an introduction. I do have a video accompanying this text if you’d like to check that out too. It is my first video clip addressing an audience so please be patient with those first video jitters and mental blanks.
I am Ashley Stafford. I'm a full service sex worker. I'm based in Newcastle, New South Wales, and I also make online content with OnlyFans and ManyVids. I'm here today to answer some questions which I've been asked quite a bit lately. Some different questions around the industry and the law. And whilst I don't work in the legal system or government, I do have resources to help find out the relevant answers.
I’ll be answering these questions and running over a few other little things around what's expected if you choose to come and see me.
So, let's start with, is sex work legal?
Now I'm based in New South Wales. It is different in every state in which you live in, or see sex workers in, as every state has different laws, but for me here in New South Wales it is legal. This is the case as long as the sex worker providing the service is over the age of 18, and the person receiving the service is also over 18.
How do we keep it safe?
I work independently from a secure location and I do offer out calls too (where I come to you). I have things in place to help me feel safe within my work, and to help assess potential clientele. This is helpful to make sure everyone is on the same page and we are well matched whilst keeping safety and harm minimization in mind for all parties. So I have my own vetting process, when I see new people, because I wanna make sure that everyone is on board with safety and that we are being open, honest, and transparent, about the needs and we're able to communicate effectively so there's no hiccups or no surprises during our booking.
Maybe you've looked at my website and my services and you're thinking, Hey, Ash seems really great at this. Um, maybe I wanna give this a go with her.
What can I expect when I see a sex worker? What is the role of a sex worker?
So for me, my answer to that is it's going to be different for everyone. Depends on what you want my role to be. For some people, it's a regular session where we have a really good connection, we get along, we meet each other's needs both sexually and in other areas.
Sometimes people wanna experience a certain thing: maybe it's a kink service or something a bit more out there, or you're not getting a need met outside of a service or a service provider. Also a lot of people do come and see sex workers for different reasons, like wanting to learn new skills or they are experiencing loneliness or lack of connection more generally.
Human connection is so important. I think we sort of forget that underneath it all, we are human and we once have connection and touch and feel valued and validated. Human touch is so fundamental to human needs.
So for me, I base my services around the individual. I offer a really genuine service. I like to make sure that the people that are seeking my services are well matched with what I’m offering. So you can expect a genuine, and compassionate service with me.
Who do I see?
I don't discriminate. A lot of people ask me if I see certain types of people. Nope, I see everyone. I will see all, ALL types of people. If you respect me, use your manners, don’t try to push my boundaries, communicate with me and we treat each other like humans we’re going to get along just fine. Where you’re from, what your preferences are, all the rest of the things we use to create difference and prejudice don't matter so long as we can find a space to navigate safely together, as long as you’re over 18 years old.
If you want to know what my boundaries are I have a section of Q&As outlining my boundaries here. https://www.ashleystafford.com.au/faq
You're also welcome to email me or text me, um, and I'll be sure to get back to you. So that's really about it for today, I suppose. Hopefully every month I'll get some questions and come on here and talk to you guys. All right, bye.
